I have been lured to coming back home each weekend as I have been meeting a friend and going out and she just happens to be a vet nurse. Funny how things are falling into place, I am not sure if its just because I am interested in what is going on, or if some how I am being guided to do more and more, but it would seem the more I know the more I feel telling you all some one some where will feel enthused enough to do some thing.

             I was told about my friends work at the vets. I was appalled to hear of blind pedigree pups being put to sleep, deformed pups being put to sleep, dogs that had delivered too many pups by caesarean section being put to sleep. Where did these dogs come from I asked, and was told licensed breeders, I asked if that meant puppy farmers and my friend laughed and said it was the same thing. I asked if the blind deformed pups came in often and was told yes and it was mainly male ones that were put to sleep, but the females though not able to be sold were kept and bred from if at all possible. I don’t know any thing about breeding, but asked my friend if    would a dog with problems being used to breed others surely not have pups with problems, to which I was told that the pups were sold to dealers and then sold on to pet shops and unless detectable at the time of sale they got away with it. I then asked if these dogs were kennel club pedigree paper holders. I thought if you bought a dog with a pedigree that was registered with the kennel club then it meant it was a good dog. Hell no I was told any one any dog, infact a dog with genetic problems can all hold kennel club pedigrees. I find this so hard to believe, but I have done my home work and it’s true.

            Now it occurs to me there is a hole chain of people responsible for the suffering of these poor puppy farm dogs, all of whom you could do some thing about via letters publicity and your time.

 1) on my site I have linked you to addresses of pet shops who sell puppy farm pups/ Make a poster stick it on their windows tell their customers, they surely have the right to know so they can decide or not to buy any thing and support in any way that shop, whose owner makes his money from the suffering of doggy breeding machines.

 2)  Write to Carmarthen council asking if they are worried about licensing puppy farms or what they call licensed breeding kennels that are definitely not working with in the animal welfare's new laws just passed. ( I can only comment on this council, but having done so the last time note the Carmarthen  dog warden who badger baited has now lost his job, but not till the blog went out)

 3) Ask the kennel club what the hell they are doing registering 

 Puppy farm genetically deformed and crippled dogs!

 4) If nothing else post this site to 10 others including TV news 

 Papers and friends, or link it to dog sites or any site that will help
